As educators we are challenged to find ways to engage our students in authentic learning. Twenty-first century classrooms are transforming into environments where students take increasing responsibility for the design of their work and teachers act as facilitators of learning. The tools used for teaching and learning are not limited to "bricks and mortar" but are seemingly limitless and inexpensive. Learning is no longer restricted to the physical space of a building but reaches across the world via technology.

Teaching, as a result, is no longer a work done in isolation. The technology that has turned our students into publishers and producers of their own work and collaborators with global peers is the same technology that we will use to support each other, learn together, create together, and build products that are the result of collective expertise.

We hope to use this wiki space as a place for educators to develop the authentic learning experiences that our students require and to support each other in our pursuit of excellence in our craft.
